Emmett on his way to pick me up in old trusty: the Portland pudgy. Behind him on the hill in the upper right of the photo is the old Hawaiian navigation heiau and below it where you can see a cut out of the hillside is where the old railroad used to pass. Now it is a dirt road that meanders along the coast and I have to say it is in the top five of the most beautiful places I have ever been jogging. Great job North Kohala!
