Field Dressing a Deer on the Libertatia:

Wai'ele, goddess of the hunt, getting down to some butchering in her sunday finest!

This was my first time really skinning and butchering, it was very interesting and pretty neat to learn.

humm.

From that, to this: delicious, delicious jerky! We sliced the meat very thin and then marinated it in a homemade teriaki concauction and then left it to dry in the Lanai sun and wind and presto-change-o, in a few hours we had prime eating, choke venison jerky. All in a good day's work! We also cut up a bunch of the meat and salted it and left it in jars... and of course we ate some for dinner!
