It was a Big Island Good-Bye Boat Party Blowout

There was food, music, swimming, wonderful folks and a grand time was had by all.

More of the boat in Nishimura

Emmett on his way to pick me up in old trusty: the Portland pudgy. Behind him on the hill in the upper right of the photo is the old Hawaiian navigation heiau and below it where you can see a cut out of the hillside is where the old railroad used to pass. Now it is a dirt road that meanders along the coast and I have to say it is in the top five of the most beautiful places I have ever been jogging. Great job North Kohala!

(The boat just behind the Libertatia is the Midnight Belle, belonging to an awesome cruising couple who recently sailed to Hawaii from Mexico! Go cruisers.)

LIbertatia Yogis Part I

Libertatia crew members Lowell and Jenine practice a sun salutation.

In Kailua-Kona we had an amazing time practicing and learning ashtanga yoga with a fantastic group of people. Norman, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I truly think you have changed my life. To Heather as well, thank you for your support and help, those 6 am yoga mornings were a blast!
